Who Should Get Dental X-Rays?

After that, the frequency of x-rays varies from patient to patient depending on your dental health history, age, risk for disease, or signs and symptoms of current diseases. Children will need x-rays more often than adults.

Are Dental X-rays Safe?

The level of radiation used is very low so risks are minimal. However, tell Dr. Fixari if you are or might be pregnant. You will be covered with a lead apron regardless.
